Frasers Hospitality enters leadership transition as CEO Eu Chin Fen steps down
Frasers Property has publicized that Eu Chin Fen will step down as chief executive officer of its business unit, Frasers Hospitality, effective Jan 1, 2027.
Eu joined the company in 2011, taking up a key duty in assisting the critical growth of Frasers Hospitality. She performed carefully with group leadership on the $2.1 billion portfolio optimisation of Frasers Hospitality Trust, which led the way for the redevelopment potential of the Fraser Suites Singapore site into a mixed-use riverfront development. The site will include a new flagship 184-unit Fraser Suites serviced residence.
Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, group CEO of Frasers Property, said: “In behalf of the board, I want to convey my genuine admiration to Chin Fen for her devoted management and important contributions over the past 15 years.”
At the same time, current chief financial officer of Frasers Hospitality Eric Gan will lead asset monitoring under group investment, reporting to group COO Tony Lombardo.
The action adheres to the successful privatisation of Frasers Hospitality Trust in 2025 and the completion of the trust’s portfolio optimisation as at Sept 30, according to an Oct 9 discharge.
Since managing at Frasers Hospitality in 2023, Eu has helped maintain the team’s market standing.
Chew Hang Song will continue to lead as COO of Frasers Hospitality, reporting to the group CEO. He will drive global brand stewardship for this market, grow the account through third-party control agreements, and provide functional excellence throughout properties worldwide, Frasers Property stated.
Eu stated: “It has actually been an opportunity to lead Frasers Hospitality and work beside such a committed, first-rate group.” “By making use of our deep extended-stay capabilities and remaining true to our commitment of warm, intuitive hospitality, we raised guest expertises across our properties with an authentic culture of services,” she included.
