Four Points by Sheraton hotel opens in Jurong Lake District
Located along Jurong City Center Road, the hotel is within walking proximity of Jurong East MRT Stop, International Business Park, in addition to shopping center such as Jem, Westgate and IMM. Future transportation links, consisting of the Jurong Area Line and Cross Island Line, are assumed to further enhance connection.
The opening extends RWS’ hotel portfolio to seven properties, with more than 1,900 rooms, suites and villas throughout Singapore.
” With its restored, more modern presence, 4 Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong is designed to meet the progressing expectations of today’s business and leisure travellers,” states Andreas Oliver Reich, senior vice-president of hospitality at RWS.
Created for business and recreation tourists, the hotel offers 557 guestrooms, an all-day dining cafeteria, external swimming pool, 24-hour physical fitness facility and free shuttle bus service to RWS. It also includes 850 sq m (9,149 sq ft) of meeting and event centers, consisting of the Genting Ballroom, 5 conference room and a roof Skies Lounge with an adjoining grass.
The 15-storey building is expected to deliver the thriving business and leisure need as the area becomes Singapore’s second CBD.
Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has already opened up 4 Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong, following the rebranding and remodel of the previous Genting Hotel Jurong.
