Sunway Property launches Sunway Majestic with 70% of buyers from Malaysia, 30% from Singapore

Sunway Majestic is also section of Sunway Property’s The BIG Deal campaign, including 16 Signature Projects and New Launches across Klang Valley, Johor, Ipoh, and Penang. Ranging from now until Nov, the campaign offers RM10 million in revenue rewards, alongside unique bundles and buyer incentives.

The property development features multi-tiered security systems. Connectivity is improved via a dedicated transportation service to the RTS, a sidewalk connection to Hutan Bandar, and access to bordering shopping centers, schools, and medical care amenities. It is adjacent to Sunway Commercial Square, a retail hub for shopping and dining to be handled by Sunway Malls.

Johor is taking advantage of significant plan and infrastructure catalysts. The Johor– Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ), formalised earlier on this year, is expected to attract substantial investment and trade flows. Meanwhile, the RTS Link, connecting Bukit Chagar (JB) to Woodlands (Singapore) by late 2026, will reduce cross-border travel to just six minutes.

” Property buyers here are discerning and assume long-term,” stated Gerard Soosay, Sunway Property Chief Executive Officer (Southern Area). “Johor Bahru’s appeal is actual, however expectations are greater: communities must be risk-free, connected, and versatile to cross-border lifestyles. That is the criterion we are constructing in the direction of. Our role as Malaysia’s Master Community Developer is to meet this evolving landscape with a long-term perspective, co-investing in the locations we build and staying real to our assurance of being With You For Generations.”

Sunway Majestic marks Sunway Property’s first development in JBCC and the city center’s first SOHO residences. Sunway Majestic has 1- to 3-bedroom SOHO units starting off at RM400,000, with the possibility to personalise under Sunway Property’s distinct Design to Own idea. This price point sits well just within the selection sought by 72% of reviewed buyers (RM1 million and listed below), the Sunway press release says.

Upperhouse Singapore

Clients to day reflect Johor Bahru’s cross-border profile, with 30% Singaporeans and 70% Malaysians (of that 60% work in Singapore). Purchases are mostly for own stay (70%), with 30% for financial investment.

Sunway Property has already launched Sunway Majestic, its primary project in Johor Bahru City Centre (JBCC) and the city center’s very first SOHO condos. With property term, a location simply 3 kilometres from the upcoming Johor Bahru– Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link, and beside Sunway Commercial Square, the property is strategically positioned for both own-stay buyers looking for city-centre advantage and clients seeking to capture cross-border rental requirement.

According to an independent research study by Milieu, ordered by Master Community Developer Sunway Property (June 2025) to determine Singaporeans’ interest rate in Johor real properties, almost half (48%) of surveyed property seekers are considering Johor Bahru for their next purchase– 83% of whom currently own property in Singapore.
