Co-living brand Coliwoo launches new mixed-use project at Old Bukit Timah Fire Station
Coliwoo Bukit Timah Fire Station will even be a lifestyle place along the Rail Corridor, and the nearest access point is around Hindhede Walk. The site will also be pet-friendly with a number of child-friendly areas. The co-living operator will host public activities such as craftsmen markets and workshops, going well with a tenant mix that consists of urban farming, beer brewing, a swimming class and experiential merchants. Confirmed occupants consist of ST. Ali by Surrey Hills Group and aquaDucks, a swim academy.
Common resident facilities contain an area garden, a co-working area, a lounge and an outdoor area. Coliwoo also prepares to arrange frequent member-exclusive events at the brand-new area that are going to be available to all homeowners in its organization.
“Beyond developing a place to stay, our vision is to build a lasting and vibrant community where people can gather, grow and experience a brand-new way of conscious living that’s ingrained in purpose and linked to nature,” adds Lim.
Coliwoo claims the typical month-to-month rental price begin with $3,500, and the serviced condo has a minimal stay of six nights.
Homegrown co-living company Coliwoo, a branch of real estate management services group LHN, is set to start its latest property next month at the spot of the Old Bukit Timah Fire Station, situated at 260 Upper Bukit Timah Roadway.
The State-owned heritage real property has been repositioned as a mixed-use project with a 62-unit co-living residence by Coliwoo, a café and restaurant, as well as community event areas. It is positioned near Hume MRT Station on the Downtown Line.
“Leveraging our core strengths in spot optimization and property restoration, we’ve reimagined the Old Bukit Timah Fire Station right into a distinctive destination that flawlessly incorporates co-living, lifestyle and area right into a holistic ecosystem,” says Kelvin Lim, exec chairman of LHN and founder of Coliwoo.
The co-living residence consists of three ensuite room types with one-, double-, and queen-studios. All unit provides in-room services such as a fully furnished kitchenette and a washer-cum-dryer. Interiors are styled in warm, nature-inspired moods with botanic concepts, mirroring the site’s close proximity to eco-friendly spaces like the 24km Rail Corridor, Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Singapore’s 36km Coast-to-Coast Central Route.
